Sad news tonight after it’s been confirmed that a 79-yr-old man has lost his life after being hit by a car in a road crash in Belfast.
PSNI have named the man as Patrick McDermott and say that he was walking along Albertbridge Road at around 3.30pm on Friday when he was apparently struck by a vehicle.
Sadly it has been confirmed today that the man died from his injuries and that PSNI are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact any police station.
