There was some sad news announced this morning as Gardaí confirmed that a 16-year-old boy has sadly died following a road traffic incident in Co Tipperary on Tuesday.
Gardaí say the teenager who waa a passenger traveling in the back seat of the car, was killed after the vehicle hit a tree at Boston on the Ballingarry North to Cloughjordan road at approximately 3.45pm yesterday afternoon.
Meanwhile a man aged 22, and a 17-year-old girl were both injured and are being treated at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore, and at University Hospital Limerick.
Gardaí say the man is in a serious condition in hospital.
