There was some tragic news announced earlier as the body of a fisherman who went missing off a trawler in Skerries yesterday was recovered this morning.
Gardaí say the remains of the man who has been named locally as Jamie McAllister, was recovered after a large scale search operation begun this morning.
Meanwhile a second man who was on the vessel, Keith McAllister, was rescued on Friday, believed to be Jamie’s uncle is currently recovering in hospital.
