There was some sad news announced in the past few hours as police in the North have confirmed that a two-year-old boy has died after he was struck by a car in County Derry.
The PSNI say the accident occurred on the Lone Moor Road at approximately 1pm this afternoon.
It is understood an investigation is underway and police have asked for
anyone who may have witnessed the incident contact them immediately.
