A 35-year-old woman has tragically died after she fell into an industrial meat grinder in the US state of Pennsylvania.
According to reports in the US, the woman who has been named as Jill Greinger, sadly passed away after she fell into the machine on Monday.
Although police have yet to determine how Ms Greinger fell into the machine, they say they believe she fell from a stepladder whilst she was standing over the machine.
The incident which occurred at the Economy Locker Storage Company is being treated as an accident, and officers investigating the case say they believe that Ms Greinger may have been trying to remove something before she fell in.
Reports say the industrial equipment is about 6ft deep and Ms Greinger was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is understood that it took over 45 minutes for emergency services to remove Ms Greinger’s body from the machine.
