A woman who was rescued by three police officers from a submerged car in Co Fermanagh, on Saturday night, has sadly passed away in hospital.
In an announcement made on Monday, a PSNI spokesperson confirmed that the woman who was aged in her 50s sadly passed away in hospital on Sunday night.
The news of the woman’s death comes as three brave police officers pulled the woman from the car which went into the water at Muckross Pier, in Kesh, at approximately 10:25pm on Saturday evening.
Although the woman was immediately rushed to hospital in critical condition, it is believed that the woman died as a result of her injuries on Sunday night.
