A young man in his 20s has sadly passed away early morning following a road crash in Co Offaly.
The incident occurred in Clonlee, Kinnity, around 2.30am when the driver, died after his jeep left the road.
He was the only person in the vehicle and his body was removed to Tullamore Regional Hospital where a post mortem is due to take place today.
The road is currently closed for a forensic examination of the area and local diversions are in place.
