Transatlantic Aer Lingus flight diverted due to ‘technical issue’

A transatlantic Aer Lingus flight was diverted earlier today due to a ‘technical issue.’

Flight EI127, bound for Toronto, departed at 1:30pm from Dublin Airport.

The flight had to divert to Gander airport in Newfoundland due to a problem onboard a few hours into the journey.

The plane landed without incident and resumed its flight to Toronto just under 2 hours later.
