Travel operator TUI has announced the closure of 166 outlets across Ireland and the UK.
The move means that 900 jobs are now in jeopardy.
The company said that it intends to close a number of physical outlets and move to a ‘digital’ environment to reduce overheads.
Up to 330 TUI brick-and-mortar outlets will remain operational for the time being.
