Travel restrictions for inbound travelers to Ireland have been extended until July 9, potentially scuppering many people’s holiday plans.
Those wishing for a bit of sun in Spain or elsewhere in southern Europe might have to reconsider, as they would be asked to self-isolate for 14 days upon their return, which means people wouldn’t be able to go back to work for a fortnight.
The move has been branded a ‘disaster’ for the hospitality industry here in Ireland.
