All travelers who booked tickets to sail on the WB Yeats ferry last summer have been advised to apply for compensation.
The craft was scheduled to sail between Dublin and France, but it was never delivered to Irish Ferries on time, forcing the cancellation of all sailings. The move affected thousands of would-be passengers.
The National Transport Authority (NTA) is now encouraging those affected to apply for compensation.
Irish Ferries are appealing the NTA’s decision.
