There is a treat in store for Stargazers this weekend as a meteor shower will light up the skies tonight and tomorrow night respectively.
The magical Orionids shower will light up the skies across the country, which will surely have every professional and amateur photographer watching in anticipation.
The shower which will show almost 20 meteors every hour, will occur after the Earth will pass through an area of dust and debris from Halley’s Comet, which orbits the solar system every 76 years.
It is expected that the meteors will enter the Earth’s atmosphere at around 60km a second, which in turn makes them burn up leaving a spectacular light show in our skies.
