
In Co Fermanagh, a man has perished in a car accident, reports Breaking News.
The Lisnaskea collision on Wednesday featured a vehicle and a truck.
Daniel Lavelle, 40, a father of five who was operating the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene on the Crom Road, according to the police, reports Breaking News.
The lorry driver was taken into custody on charges of driving dangerously and causing death.
At around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, according to Roads Inspector Cherith Adair, police received a complaint of the collision.
“Officers attended, alongside our colleagues from other emergency services. Sadly, the driver of the car, was pronounced deceased at the scene. He was married father-of-five, Daniel Lavelle, who was aged 40 and from the Donagh area. The driver of the lorry, a 48-year-old man, has subsequently been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He remains in custody at this time,” reports Breaking News.
