Tributes paid after man (40s) dies in yet another car crash this week




A 40-year-old man has tragically lost his life in a horrific road accident in Donegal yesterday morning, reports The Mirror.

A single vehicle collision occurred between 8.30am and 9.00am on Tuesday in Carrowreagh, Bridge End, Donegal.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital Mortuary, reports The Mirror.

The road to Carrowreagh was closed while Garda forensic collision investigators carried out a technical survey of the scene; It has since reopened.

Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them.

A spokesperson said: “Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam), and who were travelling in the Bridge End to Killea area between 8am and 9am on Tuesday, August 29 are asked to make this footage available to gardaí. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Buncrana Garda Station on 074 932 0540, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station,” reports The Mirror.
