
A man has died after a house fire in Derry, reports Breaking News.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) said the incident happened at a terraced property on Grafton Street in the Rosemount area of the city on Friday, reports Breaking News.
An NIFRS spokesperson said: “Firefighters were called to reports of a fire in a terraced house at 11.14am.
“Two appliances from Northland Fire Station and one appliance from Crescent Link Fire Station attended the incident.
“The fire was extinguished prior to NIFRS arrival.
“Firefighters ventilated the property and assisted Northern Ireland Ambulance Service with first aid on one casualty.
“Tragically, the man, aged in his 60s, died at the scene”, reports Breaking News.
The spokesperson said the cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental, reports Breaking News.
