Roger Scuton, the 75-yr-old author of more than 50 books on aesthetics, morality, beauty and politics, has passed away aged 75. Roger was also a UK government adviser. His supporters hailed him as being “the greatest conservative of our age”.
A statement on Roger’s website said that he “died peacefully” on Sunday after a six month battle with cancer.
“His family are hugely proud of him and of all his achievements,” it said.
Sir Roger was known as a highly intelligent philosopher who discussed, analysed and described religion, beauty and what the meaning of life is.
