A young Cork entrepreneur has been remembered as “fiercely loved by all who knew him” following his tragic death after an accident at his home, reports The Mirror.

Paul Collins, who lived in Glanmire and was originally from Waterfall, Co Cork, died unexpectedly on Saturday.

Mr Collins co-founded Cork-based marketing and advertising agency Noise in 2016 and served as its Marketing Director, working with a wide range of well-known brands throughout Cork and across Ireland, reports The Mirror.

His business partner and close friend, Robbie Roche, paid tribute to him, describing a man whose kindness, energy and dedication left a lasting impact on everyone around him.

Roche said Collins had a unique ability to make people feel valued and genuinely cared about the clients, colleagues and businesses he worked with, reports The Mirror.

In an emotional statement shared on Instagram, Roche said he was struggling to find the words to describe what Collins meant both personally and professionally.

He described Collins as not only a talented and dedicated professional, but also his best friend, a devoted son and a loving brother who was deeply cherished by those who knew him.

Roche said Collins brought warmth and positivity into everyday life and left behind a legacy defined by hard work, integrity and compassion, reports The Mirror.

He added that Collins’ enthusiasm for his work was infectious and that he took great pride in helping clients achieve success through the projects he worked on.

The tribute concluded with a heartfelt message from Roche and the Noise team, expressing their enduring love and remembrance for their friend and colleague, reports The Mirror.

According to his funeral notice, Collins was the beloved son of Denis and Teresa Collins and the much-loved brother of Sister Mary Joseph and Ronan.

The notice stated that he touched the lives of many people and would be sadly missed by his family, relatives and wide circle of friends, particularly his best friend Robbie, reports The Mirror.

Mr Collins will be laid to rest following his Requiem Mass at Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, which is scheduled to take place at 11am on Wednesday.

His funeral will then proceed to St James’ Cemetery for burial, reports The Mirror.
