Tributes paid to man (40s) who died in single-vehicle collision in Tipperary

A man in his 40s has died following a single-vehicle crash in Birdhill, Tipperary, in the early hours of Sunday morning, reports Breaking News.

The man, who was the only person in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene, reports Breaking News.

The Coroner has been notified, and the deceased has been taken to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course, reports Breaking News.

The road remains closed at the scene, which has been preserved for a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.

Traffic diversions are currently in place, reports Breaking News.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.

Any motorists who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were traveling on the R445 at Birdhill, Tipperary, between 10pm on Saturday night and 8am on Sunday morning are asked to share the footage with investigating officers, reports Breaking News.
