
The head of the Irish division of a global insurance company has died following a tragic farming accident in Co Kildare on Monday morning, reports Breaking News.
The incident happened near Maynooth, Co Kildare, when it is believed a tractor loader collapsed.
The deceased has been identified locally as 58-year-old Eamonn Egan. Mr Egan was the chief executive of Lloyds’ Irish operations, a former amateur jockey, and a member of the Ward Union hunt, reports Breaking News.
Gardaà and emergency responders were called to the scene. Mr Egan was declared dead at the location.
A postmortem examination will be carried out. As standard procedure, the coroner’s office has been informed.
Mr Egan is survived by his wife, daughter, and son, reports Breaking News.
