Witnesses to Sunday’s crash in Abbeyfeale are being sought by the GardaÃ.
Just before nine o’clock at night, emergency services were notified of the collision, reports Breaking News.
According to the GardaÃ, incident happened on New Street and included a car and a pedestrian.
Shortly after, the pedestrian, a man in his 70s, was declared dead at the site, reports Breaking News.
For a technical analysis by garda forensic officers, the scene was maintained.
There will be a post-mortem examination and a report filed to the local coroner, reports Breaking News.
