Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road crash in Co Louth in which a man in his 80s lost his life.
The man died after the car he was driving was involved in a collision with a truck on the N2 at Edmondstown near Ardee shortly before 6pm on Wednesday, reports Breaking News.
The road remains closed for a forensic examination, and gardaí are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from the area to come forward, reports Breaking News.
