Tributes paid to motorcyclist who has died following road collision with a van




A motorcyclist has died after a road crash in Co Tipperary, reports Breaking News.

The man, who was in his 70s, was riding a motorcycle when it collided with a van on Sunday morning.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occurred on the N24 at Cahir at around 11.05am, reports Breaking News.

They confirmed that the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were no other injuries reported, reports Breaking News.

Gardaí have said that their investigation into the crash is ongoing.

“Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them,” they said in a statement. Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 10.45am and 11.15am this morning, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí. Anyone with information is asked to contact Cahir Garda Station on (052) 7445630, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station,” reports Breaking News.
