Tributes paid to ‘one of life’s great characters’ after he sadly died in Christmas day crash

One of the greatest figures in history is being remembered after passing away in an accident on Christmas morning, reports The Mirror.

Corlurgan, Sean Brady (87), Cavan Town, Co. At before 12:40 a.m. on Christmas morning, Cavan lost his life in an accident involving two automobiles on the N55 at Clarebane. At the scene, Mr. Brady was declared deceased. For a post mortem, his body was sent to Cavan General Hospital.

To get treatment for non-life-threatening injuries, the four passengers in the second vehicle were sent to Cavan General Hospital. His remains will be laid to rest on Tuesday from 6 to 7.30 p.m. at the McMahon Funeral Home, located on Farnham Road in Cavan.

On Wednesday morning, they were taken from the McMahon Funeral Home to the Cathedral of S.s. Patrick and Felim in Cavan, where they arrived for funeral mass at 11 a.m. The cortege will go to St. Brigid’s Cemetery in Killygarry after Mass in order to attend committal prayers and be buried in the family grave, reports The Mirror.
