Tributes paid to woman (70s) who sadly died after Co Kerry collision




A woman in her 70s has passed away following a single-car crash that occurred in Co Kerry last week, reports Breaking News.

The incident took place around 1.45pm on Thursday, September 18th, on the R557 at Ballyhorgan West, Lixnaw, Co Kerry.

She was taken to University Hospital Kerry after the crash, but has since died, reports Breaking News.

There were no other reported injuries.

Gardaí are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward, reports Breaking News.

They are also appealing to road users who may have camera footage—including dash cam—and were driving on the R557 in the Ballyhorgan West area between 1pm and 2pm on Thursday, September 18th, to share this with investigators.

Those with relevant information are asked to contact Listowel Garda Station on 068 50820, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any local garda station.

A garda spokesperson confirmed that investigations are ongoing, reports Breaking News.
