A young Irish man has died following a road accident in the United States, reports RTE.
The individual, originally from Co Donegal, was hit by a vehicle in the early hours of yesterday morning (local time) in California.
The man was in his mid-30s and had been residing in the US for several years, reports RTE.
He is survived by his partner and young children.
His close relatives in Co Donegal have been notified of his passing.
The Department of Foreign Affairs has been approached for a response, reports RTE.
