
A motorcyclist has died following a single-vehicle collision in Barntown, Co. Wexford, on Monday morning.
The incident occurred on the R738 at Growtown Upper at around 6.20 am, reports Breaking News.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The coroner has been notified, reports Breaking News.
No other injuries were reported at the time.
The R738 is currently closed for technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, with local diversions in place, reports Breaking News.
Gardaà are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.
Any road users with camera footage, including dash-cam, who were travelling in the area between 6.00 am and 6.30 am on Monday 1st December 2025, are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaÃ, reports Breaking News.
