
A man in his 30s has died following a tractor crash in Co Cavan around midday on Sunday.
Gardaà have issued an appeal for witnesses after the fatal road traffic incident, which occurred on a local road in Ardkill Beg, Carrickaboy, reports Breaking News.
Emergency services, along with GardaÃ, responded shortly before 12:40pm to a single-vehicle collision involving a tractor in the area.
The male driver, aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene, reports Breaking News.
His body has since been taken to Cavan Monaghan General Hospital, where a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out.
Garda forensic collision investigators attended the location, and a technical examination of the scene has been completed, reports Breaking News.
Gardaà are now appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward.
They are also asking road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam recordings, and who were travelling in the area between 9:00am and 12:40pm to provide this to investigators, reports Breaking News.
