
An elderly woman has died after a road accident in County Donegal.
The victim, who was in her 80s, passed away following a single-vehicle crash on the R262 at Tullynaglaggin around 3:50pm on Wednesday, reports Breaking News.
A man, also in his 80s, was transported to Letterkenny University Hospital with injuries that are believed to be non-life threatening.
Gardaí said the scene will undergo examination by Forensic Collision Investigators, reports Breaking News.
“Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them,” they said, reports Breaking News.
“Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area between 3:30pm and 4:00pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí,” reports Breaking News.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Ballyshannon Garda Station on 071 985 8530, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station,” reports Breaking News.
