A teenager died on Thursday evening after being hit by a moving bus in the town of Longford, reports RTE.
Gardai and rescue workers arrived at the scene at the crossroads of Convent Road in the village shortly after 6pm, reports RTE.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The place has been cordoned off pending forensic investigations, reports RTE.
