Tributes are pouring in on social media for 39-yr-old Derek Joyce, the motorcyclist who was killed yesterday when his motorbike had a head-on collision with a tractor in Ballymakenny, Co. Louth.
The accident happened at 5:40pm as a result of heavy fog which appeared fast out of nowhere.
The driver of the tractor was unharmed, but Derek Joyce unfortunately lost his life and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Former school teacher, Cllr Ollie Tully said “Derek was a lovely man”.
