Sally Ann Howes, who starred in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and My Fair Lady, has died at the age of 91, her family confirmed.
The Tony Award-winning actress first appeared on screen at the age of 12 and had a career spanning six decades.
She was best known for the role of Truly Scrumptious in the 1968 musical film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang opposite Dick Van Dyke.
Her son, artist Andrew Hart Adler, confirmed the news to the Press Association as tributes started to pour in from around the world.
He shared an old photo of the two of them together, stating that she had now reunited with her husband of some 48 years, Douglas Rae, who died earlier this year in September.
