Tributes pour in for Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts who has passed away




Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts, who has died aged 80.

The band became world renowned for rock and roll excess, but Watts notoriously didn’t have the ego trip that grasped Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.

A jazz expert, Watts alongside Bill Wyman were the least charismatic members of the band.

He once famously described life with the Stones as five years of playing, 20 years of hanging around and that he considered the band to be nothing.
