Trilogy? Heavyweights Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury may go toe-to-toe one more time after legal wranglings see Fury call off December fight

They’ve already had two memorable fights for very different reasons. Now, following a bizarre 9 months in every sense of the word, Deontay Wilder may get his trilogy fight against Tyson Fury in early 2021.

Fury beat Wilder in what the Bronze Bomber claims was a very controversial win, even though Fury’s supporters say that he won it fair and square. It was a one-sided affair that saw Fury once again become the WBC World Champion, following on from their draw in their first fight.

Wilder has been calling Fury out on social media over the past few weeks but the Gypsy King had decided that was going to fight another fighter in December and possibly look at a fight against Anthony Joshua in 2021.

However, Bob Arum, Fury’s American promoter has confirmed that Fury may now fight Wilder in a trilogy fight given legal proceedings and contractual obligations. He said that Fury would definitely fight Wilder again if Kubrat Pulev beats Anthony Joshua on December 12th.
