Tropical Storm Bret may signal the return of heatwave conditions to Ireland later this month.
The storm, which has just been named, is currently increasing in size and strength over the Atlantic.
While weather patterns will remain quite unsettled for the next 48h, early indications show milder temperatures arriving just in time for the weekend, with temperatures expected to rise to mid-20s.
