Team Trump are claiming that an uncovered “glitch” in the software used for counting votes in the US general election in Michigan accidentally gave 6,000 Republican votes to Democrats it has been revealed in just one county and the same software was used in 47 other counties in the key swing state which went to Biden.

According to Michigan Republican Party chairwoman Laura Cox, 47 other counties , aside from Antrim County where 6,000 Republican votes were logged as Democrat, used the same software that experienced this “glitch” along with dozens of other states, including all key swing states.

Republican National Committee (RNC) chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said:

“The county clerk came forward and said tabulating software glitched and caused a miscalculation of the votes. Since then, we have now discovered that 47 counties used this same software in the same capacity,”

The Trump campaign was quick to seize on the revelations tweeting:

“Michigan GOP Chair: Dozens of Michigan counties used the same software that caused 6,000 votes in one county to switch from Trump to Biden. “These counties that used this software need to closely examine their result for similar discrepancies.””

Donald Trump Jr has been outspoken in his claims of voter fraud tweeting:

“When America sees everything we are uncovering they will be disgusted and even the media won’t be able to pretend voter fraud isn’t real.
Ending this crap once and for all will be fundamental to preserving our republic and faith in democracy.”

President Trump says he’s going to fight on regardless of what happens over the coming days.
