With the victory in the crucial New Hampshire primary, Donald Trump is getting closer to capturing the Republican presidential nominee and setting up an incredible rematch with Joe Biden in the White House, reports RTE.
Nikki Haley, Mr. Trump’s lone rival, promised to go on even though her margin of victory was only about 11 percentage points with nearly 80% of the ballots tabulated.
In his victory address, Mr. Trump, 77, disparaged Ms. Haley and declared that “we’re going to win easily” when the primary battle reached her home state of South Carolina, reports RTE.
In her speech, Ms Haley said: They know Trump is the only Republican in the country who Joe Biden can defeat,” reports RTE.
