The Turkish government has said that it will return Islamic State prisoners and their families to their countries of origin regardless if their citizenship is revoked or not.

At present there are over 1,000 foreign I.S members imprisoned in Turkey and countries such as the UK have refused to repatriate any of their citizens or residents who were members of the genocidal Muslim terrorist group.

Turkey’s interior minister, Soleyman Soylu, said in a statement on Monday
“We will send back those in our hands, but the world has come up with a new method now: revoking their citizenships.
They are saying they should be tried where they have been caught. This is a new form of international law, I guess.
It is not possible to accept this. We will send back Daesh members in our hands to their own countries whether they revoke their citizenships or not.”

How Turkey intends to return foreign I.S fighters to countries such as the UK and France, who have revoked the citizenship of their nationals who joined the terror group, is unclear.

Also, while New York Convention of 1961, it is illegal to leave someone stateless, meaning a country cannot revoke a nationals citizenship unless they have citizenship of another jurisdiction, the UK, France and several other countries have never ratified the agreement.
