Turkish President threatens to send 3.6 million refugees to EU if it condemns his invasion and occupation of Syria

Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has threatened the EU, saying he would “open the gates and send 3.6 million refugees your way” should the bloc condemn his bid to ethnically cleanse Northern Syria of Kurds.

If Brussels refers to the Turkish occupation of Northern Syria as an “occupation” the fiery Islamist leader promised Europe he will send plenty of cultural enrichment their way with millions of Middle Eastern migrants.

The Kurdish “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) has engaged the invading Turkish military the outskirts of the towns of Tel Abyad and Ras al-Ayn in the North of the country and there are reports that detainment camps holding Islamic State loyalist in Kurdish territory have erupted in revolt.
