Bear Grylls is the public face of the Scouts in the UK. Speaking on the Late Late Show, the legendary TV action man said that coast guards are basically “unsung heroes” and “just regular people giving up so much to help other people”.
Bear said: “It’s the unsung heroes of both of our words.
“I see it with the Scouts, just regular people giving up so much to help other people.
“It’s the magic of volunteering. It’s unpaid and you’re doing it from the goodness of your heart.”
Watch the video below where he said Caitriona literally gave the ultimate sacrifice. A fitting tribute to a hero from a decent TV action man.
