According to reports this morning two children and a man have been injured following a serious collision on the M8 Motorway in Cork late last night.
It is understood the three passengers the vehicle were injured following a collision on the southbound part of the motorway between the Watergrasshill and Glanmire junctions.
A number of emergency service vehicles were called to the scene of the incident which occurred shortly after 11pm last night.
It is not yet known what condition the three occupants of the vehicle are in.
Gardaí say an investigation is currently ongoing.
