The micro social media networking platform, Twitter has seen worldwide outages over the past 12 hours with many users in Ireland and the UK affected.
Around 7am Irish time, Twitter’s Support account tweeted that some users may have had issues sending tweets and again at 1pm this afternoon.
Twitter then posted the following tweet:
Some users are currently experiencing problems accessing Twitter & Tweeting. We are aware of the issue and are working towards a resolution.
