Two fatalities have been confirmed, and one person is in a critical condition following a road crash in an Irish county.
The incident, which involved two cars and a truck, happened at Mullaghanee, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan at around 6:15 pm on Thursday.
A man and woman in their 60s were pronounced dead at the scene. Another woman in her 60s was rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes Drogheda in a critical condition.
