Two Garda officers have been kept in custody after three members were arrested on Thursday following allegations of corruption.
According to RTÉ News, the arrests come as part of an operation led by the Assistant Commissioner and Special Crime Operations unit.
It is understood that one of the officers arrested has been released from custody, but has been suspended from their duties.
Meanwhile the two other officers remain in custody after their period of detention was extended by investigating officers.
