Two injured after a pipe bomb is detonated at a New York bus terminal 




Police in New York have confirmed that two people have been injured following an explosion at a bus terminal in the city.

According to CNN news one innocent bystander and the bomber have suffered non life threatening injuries in the bombing attempt which occurred at 7:30am local time. 

It is understood that the man who may have been from Bangladesh had a pipe bomb strapped to his chest which he intended to detonate in the busy terminal.

However reports say the device went off accidentally and therefore caused less causlities as the area he was standing in wasn’t overly crowded at the time.

Authorities also believe the attacker was carrying out the explosion in the name of ISIS.
