Police in Australia have confirmed that two Irishmen have been arrested in connection with the shooting of a real estate agent in Melbourne, last Thursday.
According to reports in Australia, the two Irish nationals identified as Mark Dixon, 30, and Jack Harvey, 26, were arrested at Broken Head in New South Wales, on Wednesday.
It is believed that both men were arrested after the estate agent Sid Morgan, 53, was shot in the face outside a house in the west of the city last Thursday.
Police investigating the shooting say Mr Morgan is in critical condition in hospital.
