According to reports this morning at least two people have been killed and more than 120 people have been injured following an earthquake on the Greek island of Kos.
It is understood the 6.5 magnitude caused major damage in south eastern Turkey as well as the Greek island.
Local media say the quake which has produced a number of aftershocks struck on Thursday night with an epicentre approximately 6.4 miles (10.3km) south of Bodrum, Turkey, and 10 miles (16.2km) east of Kos.
The powerful quake has also caused a small tsunami in the region which has caused flooding in many of the affected areas.
