Two men have been accused of plotting to kill the British Prime Minister in a suicide bombing attack on Downing Street.
Naa‘imur Rahman from London was detained last week with explosives while his co-conspirator Mohammed Imran from Birmingham was also charged on suspicion of planning a terrorist attack.
Both of the men will appear before the Old Bailey central criminal court later this month.
Tensions remain on a knife edge in the UK with authorities view the chances of yet another Islamists terror attack in the run up to Christmas likely.
