
Two men have been arrested by Gardai after officers in Dublin seized a large quantity of cannabis herb worth an estimated street value of €740,000.
Gardai say the arrests come as part of an ongoing operation by gardaí from the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau. It did understood the discovery was made when officers conducted a search of a car and a van on Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin 2, on Monday morning
It is believed that approximately 37 kilos of cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €740,000, was discovered in both vehicles.
Gardai say two men, aged 30 and 48 years, were arrested and brought to Irishtown Garda Station where they are currently being detained held.
