Two of the countries leading political parties are currently at the centre of a major a argument as both the Fianna Fáil and Sinn Féin parties are accusing each other of trying to scupper the peace process.

The news comes after Fianna Fail leader Micheál Martin openly accused the Sinn Féin party of clear dishonesty, for claiming that the IRA had completely disbanded. Meanwhile the chief of the PSNI claimed that the IRA still currently exists and that some of its remaining members may have been behind the brutal murder of Belfast man Kevin McGuigan.

However Sinn Féin have since denied the claims, and responded by saying that Mr Martin is trying to use the travesty in order to gain a political advantage.
