Gardai in Co Meath have confirmed that two people have been killed following a road traffic collision this afternoon.
It is understood that a man and a woman were killed whilst travelling on the N51 Slane to Navan road.
Gardai say both the man and a woman were killed after the car they were travelling in collided with a lorry.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
